Advice needed: Plan to move to japan and transfer universities

I've been trying to research how I could move to japan and live there long term.

I am under 20, about to start my first year of college at a private religious university in fall. I would be getting my college entirely paid for from my parents because its so cheap (<~6k per year.)

My plan so far is: 1. Do 2 years at the school in the US (for free)

  1. Transfer to a university in Japan for the other 2 years

  2. Find a job for after graduation, start working towards my residency.

I really don't want to go to the religious school, but am willing to push through it if it makes my plan realistic. I would probably be studying computer science.

I am starting to learn Japanese now.

I don't know how much of the Japanese school my parents would help me pay for because its not as cheap (or where they'd want me to go) as the religious school, but it doesn't seem extremely unaffordable.

I'm asking for advice towards this, because I really don't know if there's something I'm missing or if this even really makes sense with credits transferring etc.

I am very much just floating this idea around in my head, seeing if its even possible before really getting into the specifics. I really want this to be possible though. Thank you!!
