I moved to Kyoto in November last year and when I reached the apartment my school had fixed, I was given a contract to sign. They ONLY told me at that time that if I decided to move out within 6 months, I had to pay the rent of one more month. I decided to move to another apartment in April and informed them beforehand about these things. They told me NOTHING! I told them that I will move by 10th May and so I had to pay for May month rent also. Now They are telling me that I must pay for June because it was written in the contract that I had to submit the cancellation application before one month. I called them and they are saying that they have told me these things so many times before but never have i ever heard them say. If anyone has any advice please help me, i would really apricate it 🙁
