Hi Kyoto family!
I’ve been living in Kyoto for a few years now and have met some amazing people along the way. Many of them stayed only for a short time, but I’m grateful for those connections.
Now that I’m in my 30s and not really into the nightlife scene, it’s been a bit challenging to meet new friends. I’ve thought about organizing events or starting a community, but the planning can feel overwhelming, and sometimes it takes away the joy of it all (trust me, I’ve done it a lot before!).
So, I figured I’d make a post and see where it leads. I’m just looking for genuine connections and platonic friendships—no pressure, just good vibes.
