Hello everyone, I just recently applied for ALTIA and they asked for two references with at least one of them being a Japanese speaker. They asked me to ask one of my teachers, I asked the teacher I felt most comfortable with and at first they said yes, but then they backed out, which by the way I'm very nervous about because I'm worried that it'll get back to my current company that I asked a teacher to be my reference.
But anyways, what happens if I can't give them a Japanese reference? Is my application basically moot at this point? Or should I say that I can't provide them with a Japanese reference?
