Oki Trip in July

As the title says, doing a trip to Oki during that first week of July. Any tips?? I know it’ll be so humid but want to have all the insider info on foods, attractions , etc. I already know of the aquarium, american village, the mall , etc but want to know the small food places, the only places the “locals” would know to make this trip even better. thanks!!
