I’ve lived in America for my whole life (born in Florida, raised in Michigan) and I’ve always loved America. Sure it’s flawed, but it’s a nice kind of flawed. However, I’ve been looking at videos of people who moved to Japan and say mostly positive things about it (maybe they’re biased, but it still resonated with me). My dad and two aunts on my dad’s side were born in Japan, since their father served in the US Navy and was stationed on a base in Japan, and they seemed to like it as well. I am ill-prepared for moving asap, since I barely know the language and I want to save up enough money for a trip. However, I do feel like I’m too ambitious and unrealistic for my future for wanting to move to a whole different country.
