I’m starting driving lessons soon to get my license, but I naturally learned to drive to race, since I was born and raised in that sort of background. My friend let me drive his car to see how I’d drive and he said that instructors would flag me for so many things. I was told that left foot braking is something instructors would flag when driving automatic, and apparently hand over hand with steering is also a red flag towards the instructors. Another thing I was told was you gotta basically break your neck and looking at your surroundings otherwise the instructors will flag it as well. My friend did say I drive really really good for someone without a license, but the system here is very strict when it comes to doing the actual lessons. I did ask AI and also did some research to see what I should seriously watch out for and focus on for the actual driving and written exams but I figured asking people who’s actually done the exams and got their license would be the best source of information and advice. I was basically told i “gotta drive like a robot” around the instructors, but I can just go back to my usual ways after passing the exam.
