I am moving to Japan in a few days and have a question concerning the immigration process on Visit Japan Web.
My situation is as followed: I got accepted for a job and am very soon moving with my wife to Japan with long-term intentions of staying. Unfortunately the immigration office took an unusual amount of time to process my CoE, so I have not received it by now. In contact with the immigration office they said it would be possible for me to apply for my spouse visa while already being in Japan, so I am planning to do that. That also means though, that I will be entering Japan without any visa (which is allowed up to 90 days for the country I am from).
While trying to fill out the forms on Visit Japan Web I reached the section, where to write your purpose of visit and your intended length of stay. I am now very unsure as what to write there, as I am planning to work but do not have the right visa for it just yet, and am planning to stay long term but also do not have the right for that either so far.
So what would be the right purpose and intended length?
