On Tuesday my family and I rode the JR Osaka loop line to Osaka station to catch the Shinkansen to Tokyo. We had all our luggage with us. I accidentally left my purse that contained our passports, money, credit cards, small souvenirs for my kiddos, a pair of earrings, but most importantly my wedding ring. The saddest part of all this is this trip is celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary, and I wanted to bring the ring, but tried to keep it safe in my bag. Thankfully my wallet had an AirTag in it. If you have an iPhone and can help us by going to the area, I can share the item location with you. I will gladly pay you to ship the item to me and will pay you additional for all your help. I already spoke to JR and the police. I have reports filed with both of them, but they refuse to go to the location shown. I hope you can help me have a happy ending to this.

The loop line trains are cleaned every night where found items are held. Done at terminating stations which would be Tennōji Station or Shin-Imamiya Station. Maybe it’s taking time to register your lost bag with lost and found?
If you didn’t have your cell number somewhere in the bag, have you tried your embassy or consulate in Osaka? Maybe a kind person dropped it off since they wouldn’t know who to call about it. Might have been easier than a police station.
You probably have contacted them already since you’re going to need passports to fly. A good idea to do right away to report it lost, just like calling credit card companies for fraud.
When you say going to the area to check, do you mean an apartment building is the most recent location? This could be risky if it’s a thief. Or do you mean taking the loop line to check?
Has it already been cleared? If you need any help, let me know. I hope you can get it asap
That area is nowhere near any JR stations. Hankyu Aikawa station isn’t directly connected to the JR. There is no depot there either, so it’s possible it was taken…
That’s hankyu, not jr
