I believe this would be referred to as a “[general store](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_store)” in English rather than a grocery store.

Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum. Absolutely wonderful place. A bit of a trek but itās absolutely worth it. Itās in a really beautiful park too!
