Just curious. I started my son in international school this year. Our family is Japanese/American so my son has grown up with English. Now, at this particular school I find the kids can speak English reasonably well for the grade level (upper elementary), but most are not native speakers and don't have parents who are native English speakers. So…I hear my son picking up a lot of slang and phrasing that is very, idk, youtube?
Massive overuse of words like "bruh", "yappin", "sigma", "rizz", and phrases like, "so let's jump into it" and others used in videos. Shoot – I am not even sure he is using some of the slang properly!
