Nissan had over 60 board of director members, larger than Toyota and Honda’s combined. They still have at least 50 more to go to match Toyota’s 10 people

Devil’s advocate here. Should they get anything for being mediocre executives? No. The company agreed with contract terms. Nissan wasn’t forced to accept them.
I know someone on the Toyota board. I don’t think she gets paid nearly this much money. Very nice lady, though.
