Hi! I am a high school student who is working toward going to college in Japan. I would like to make it clear that I speak Japanese and have been learning since a young age. I have N2 certification, and I am planning to take N1 soon. Japanese is no problem for me, so I don't mind getting a degree in Japanese if I can. However, I am an American and there is no way for me to realistically go back and forth to Japan for things like the EJU, entrance exams, interviews, etc. I would really like to make this dream happen, and I wondered if anyone else from the U.S. has had a similar experience. Will I need to somehow live there for the roughly six month long process of applying? Or is it just not possible for an American?
