Hello, I am a male from Argentina, 23 years old.
I am currently planning on getting a students visa from a language school, I already have all the requirements and just need to find a school and start the process.
I don't want to get ahead of myself but my actual goal is to live in japan, meaning after the students visa ends I want to stay and work there.
I am planning on doing a 2 years japanese school course, I read some posts on the "japanlife" subreddit and most say that is the best option to get good enough at japanese to be able to apply for some jobs.
I am currently working as a Technical Leader in Nestle Argentina, I have 4 years of experience in IT industry and at the time I am planning to leave I'll have 5 years of experience already.
So my main concern or the reason I am making this post is because I want to understand or read other people's experiences on staying in Japan after a students visa ends. How hard was it to find a job? How do I find a school that can help with the job hunting status? Can I apply for a smaller job kinda like a start point and then try and get into the IT industry with my experience?
Basically I pretty much want to know what the real chances of staying in Japan are, because that's what I want to do in the end. I do not really care about what job I will get after the visa, I'm mostly wondering if it is possible to stay there.
Thanks to anyone who can help or share their experience!
