Way too presumptuous. The pressing question is whether Harvard hopefuls would choose Japan, not the other way around.
They’re not moving to Japan.
So can’t go to Harvard and would consider Japan ? Not very likely.
Why tf would they come to our 🐕💩 universities when Hong Kong and Singapore offer much more globally recognized institutions 😅
Japanese universities said “YES!” to Harvard hopefuls. The main issue is that Harvard hopefuls didn’t ask Japanese universities anything.
They ain’t coming
Do top universities in Japan offer course in full English?
Why would a Harvard hopeful go to a Japanese uni? They’re not that great.
Japans work environment is a deterrent in itself.
It’s still understandable if it’s the Todai, or Kyodai at most. But other than those two, it’s a massive downgrade compared to Harvard. Even Nagoya University which is still among Imperial Universities.
Even if you convinced them to come to a Japanese university; they’d be severely restricted on what they could study.
With Japan’s horrendous English, what courses would they offer there in English?
Maybe Tokyo University but otherwise… probably unlikely
Waseda? Sophia? (still not near the level of Harvard)
