China agrees to begin steps to resume Japanese seafood imports: Tokyo

China has agreed to resume importing Japanese seafood, lifting a ban imposed after the release of treated radioactive wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear power plant. However, restrictions on food imports from ten Japanese prefectures, including Fukushima, will remain in place.
