I am about to submit my documents for the COE. I am just worried about the new rules for proving Japanese ability with N5 or 150 hours or more. I have acquired a letter from my university stating I studied more than 150 hours, but I am not sure about attendance rate. I spoke with my university and they insist that whatever they wrote is the attendance rate, but I imagine immigration wants an actual percentage number? But my university doesn’t do this and also I have to submit these documents soon so there’s no time for anything to be changed. My university basically just wrote that I attended the classes and these classes consisted of x amount of hours, but not the actual attendance rate. Has anyone experienced a rejection because of the attendance rate?
