I'm in the process of applying for a working holiday visa. I've found this opportunity for 3 months to learn traditional Japanese woodworking from a carpenter. My question is this, when I have been researching other similar application questions, people suggest not to state any work related activity (as I will be getting paid) in the application. But I feel that as I am doing something of cultural significance (UNESCO protected craftsmanship), would the people in immigration office consider this a breach of the VISA rules and therefore reject my application?
