Japanese police find 74 packets of cocaine inside foreigner complaining of stomach pains

A 35-year-old Brazilian woman, Jessica Ramos de Souza, was arrested at Kansai International Airport in Japan for smuggling 675.5 grams of cocaine. She had concealed 13 packets in her clothing and swallowed 74 more, likely to avoid detection. Souza admitted to the smuggling but claimed she had no intention of selling the drugs.

  1. It’s laughable that anyone would go through this if they weren’t going to sell it to make money.

  2. Something doesn’t fit in the story. It’s too long a flight to swallow that much contraband and keep it down. She would have passed it between point A and B. In the 80s and 90s this mule thing was popular between Caribbean countries and North America which is a much shorter flight. Plus hiding dope in your sock defeats the purpose of swallowing so it’s kinda strange. These people should look for real work

  3. After watching Border Security on YouTube, I swear this happens more than you think. Not long ago, another person died at Narita airport because of it.
