This is a question directed at those especially who have studied in a classroom setting. I've found that those who make it far studying Japanese are extremely resourceful and can use a bunch of resources in different ways. I also know that good teachers are those who are encouraging and who can present information in a way that makes sense (and not just talking in Japanese at you constantly for 3 months somehow expecting you to understand someday).
