Get an 800yen bottle at 7Eleven.
If you’re only visiting Japan, check with the airline beforehand if you’ll be able to bring the lighter in a carry on or checked bag. It’s often the case for international flights that you can’t take a lighter with you at all.
Whiskey: according to my nephew who loves the stuff, Nikka is a worthy brand, and relatively cheap. Available at any larger supermarket.
Zippo: the only place you’ll find one that cheap is at a flea market. Sorry. They’re a cult item here, as elsewhere.
There is a shop on B2 floor in Daisan Building near JR Kitashinchi Station. You could check there. The shop’s name is Zippo World Nakamura (ジッポーワールド·ナカムラ)
You can check Yodobashi Camera, Yamaya, or Liquor Mountain for whiskey. The Yamazaki Whiskey Distillery is located in Osaka. You will need to make a reservation to visit it.
