Hey guys,
I've been looking around this forum for a while now, after my last visit to japan which was for 2 months which I worked remotly from I've decided to make Japan my home base or at least try.
About me I'm almost 28, has a bachelors for CS and been working as a senior fullstack engineer for the past 4 years.
I've had only one opportunity to interview for a company in Japan till now where I passed 3 interviews and almost got a contract but they decided to pick someone with more experience as there were a lot of canidates.
My only issue I think is regarding my experinece is that I did some job hoping these past 4 years as for diffenret reasons for each one and most I've stayed at one company was 2 years which could be probably look bad for some.
My current plan is to still try to job hunt in Tokyo dev, Japan dev and etc while still working full time and continue studying japanese ( I am aiming for N4/3 this december) and hopefully move later this year or next year whenever I get a offer hopefully.
My only concern is how can I make myself stand out from other canidiates when I apply for postions in Japan, while I was just job hunting after being fired from my last job I got approached by 15 companies (which I've been super suprised about) but only by from 1 company in Japan, I'm looking for more ways to maybe get more options for positions (my current salary is around 16.5M yen and I know I'm not going to get the same but I prefer the quality of life then the money), also is aiming for 9-11M yen yearly is okay ?
Thank you for reading this far any tips or help could be amazing 🙂
