Short story, I've applied through this language school, for the October semester. Getting all the documents in order took a while, but now they've finally submitted the documents to the immigration bureau.
And I was told, verbatim, "We expect to know the results of your COE on August 21st."
This is just over a month before I need to enter the country.
Is this enough time?
Is there enough margin for any delays?
Are there ever delays, or should it be relatively straightforward?
Is this timeline normal? As in, is it normal to get your CoE results this close to your expected entry (or semester start date)?
I'm feeling a little bit anxious, just hoping someone with experience can gauge the situation.
Extra question: is entering the county 1 week prior to language school orientation (semester start) enough time?
