At this point, if Goto beats ZSJ in the Tanahashi show , he will have an automatic defense against whoever at Forbidden Door (likely Shibata , though I’d have liked it to be Will or Okada… however we know how much Tony loves protecting his boys)
So that’s already V9 by August. If the winner of the G1 doesn’t pull a Zack and tries to cash in for KOPW , Goto can reach V12 by Wrestle Kingsom time. I think the winner of the G1 will be Tsuji and if Tsuji wins the g1 he will definitely dethrone Goto.
