  1. I know a particular Visual Kei musician is out there farming those avocados, 😜

  2. I am pretty sure avocados would grow well here. I am tempted to grow a couple trees and see how it goes.

  3. If the water supply isn’t coming from a limited source then good idea. Avocados fucked up most of the south west coast farming due to the massive water consumption.

  4. can we grow more mangos or durian then? would be cool to eat more tropical fruits

  5. “Domestic avocados fetch far higher prices than imported ones, often costing thousands of yen apiece”

There is definitely a limit to my love for avocados.

    Surprise surprise

Can’t wait for them to cut imports and just charge everyone through the nose for them like most other produce

  7. Tried some Ehime avocados years ago, amazing but incredibly pricey.

  8. Imagine how nice it would be if there was something else available instead of the JA favorites, nasu, cucumber, tomato and daikon, mizuna? On the other hand, there is plenty of avocados at the store already.
