Why are Japanese people so lean and healthy compared to us Indians? Is it because of daily activity or low-carb eating?

Hey everyone, I’m from India, and I’ve always noticed that Japanese people generally look lean, active, and healthy—even as they age. But here in India, even young people are struggling with belly fat, metabolic issues and skinny fat. Is the Japanese lifestyle more about daily physical movement like walking and cycling? Or is it the diet—do they just eat fewer carbs, sugar, and processed foods than we do?
