Im a secondary school student in Ireland, I have good grades and all clean report cards. Recently ive been thinking of doing an exchange year with Rotary Youth Exchange instead of transition year in Ireland, a country that came to mind was Japan. ( im at an N5 level in japanese but will have another year to study if i decide to go )

Is Rotary hard to get accepted by/what is the application process like?

would you recommend Japan to study in for a year? ( if not any other countries you would recommend )

any other organisations that offer exchange programs you would recommend ( so far all ive found are for american citizens only🥲 )
