Ubuya October ‘25 bookings?

Hello! Has anybody had success booking for for October 2025 at Ubuya? I thought reservations would go live July 1 but not seeing anything

  5. I just called them and they said they have limited rooms available from September to November due to renovation. The person was basically saying even if they did open up more rooms for reservation, it could be noisy due to construction :/

  7. I was able to book the standard room 59 sq meter room just now. If you toggle to Japanese the rooms show up but nothing for other languages. My dates are 10/22 – 10/25

  8. Keep in mind that according to the website – the hotel will be undergoing extensive renovation from 1st of September until end of November, by the way.

    Our hotel will be undergoing renovation work on the East Wing during the following period.

    As this will result in a stay in a slightly different environment than usual, we have prepared a “special offer” for guests who agree to the contents.

    ■ Construction details

    ・Date: Monday, September 1, 2025 – November 30, 2025 *Scheduled

    ・Time: 8:00-17:30

    ・Affected facilities: East Wing guest rooms, second floor dining area, Japanese tea lounge, souvenir shop, self-photo studio, massage chairs, and ping-pong lounge will not be available.
    　　　　　　(The large public bath and first floor dining area will be available.)

  9. I just found this thread a little late.. I’m not booking for October, I’m booking for November, but was using October as my “test” to make sure I was in the right place, able to find the right room, etc. To see they’re having renovations and making it more difficult for non-Japanese to book by walling off reservations to their Japanese website only is disheartening. I may need to find an alternate, but was curious if anyone was able to book the VIP or Deluxe rooms? This was what I wanting to get in November – if renovations are going on and it’s noisy I could care less. We won’t be sleeping during the day anyway.
