I'm going to be in Japan for a little over a week in September. Looking at the current NJPW schedule it looks like the only show will be a road to destruction show on September 13th in Tokyo. It is pretty cool it's at Korakuen Hall at least. I don't follow wrestling closely anymore but I feel like if I leave Japan without going to a New Japan show I'll deeply regret it. The question is for you that still follow closely – are these road to shows typically any good? Are they basically meaningless filler? I'll probably go and hope for the best but would like to understand these shows a little more before I commit and flesh out my schedule. Thank you, just trying to understand what to expect
