Japan went from ‘They’re just being a bit ignorant’
to ‘Oh no why are my rights under threat’ real fast.
Darn, just missed them. Live nearby and was there this morning.
The one outside my station yesterday evening averted their eyes real quick when they saw me coming, also didn’t get a flyer 😢
Why did you blur their faces. It’s public property, expose these morons.
Why do right-wingers always dress like shit?
Their logo is kind a cool
I hope these pricks appear on the radar of Anonymous (hacker collective) soon.
Given the notoriously weak cybersecurity of Japanese institutions, though, I can’t imagine there’d be much of a challenge there.
You’ll never get a flyer no matter which party it is. Only citizens can vote. It’s the same in many countries, including the US.
He looks like a little old man who is trying to lure the kid to the bench whose adults he accompanies don’t even calculate her with their newspaper…
OP, I’d have run to the nearest combini, purchased a melon pan, and waved it in his face mockingly.
The JCP way of dissing these bellends.
I think it is wise not to underestimate this group. “Japan First” appeals to many more people than we think. It’s just how Japanese people roll. They have been patient for two generations as they first prospered hugely under the US umbrella after the war. But the people who were just kids when the bubble popped in the early 90’s are coming of age and they are pissed off, not surprisingly. I think this phenomenon will surprise the world by how fast it snowballs from here especially if there is a serious economic downturn.
Are we going to keep reporting every single appearance of these suckers?
Just ignore them, don’t engage, and btw OP, normally no party would hand flyers to an obvious foreigner, nothing special here.
You’ll just have to ignore them, just walk past them and act like you don’t hear nor see them. That’s what I do
I’m 190cm with blond hair and blue eyes. Never had an issue getting the paper and a tissue packet.
I saw them in funabashi station on Thursday. No one was stopping to listen to them lol. Only a couple of people took their flyers too.
why yall even complaining, yall can’t vote anyways lol
I asked very politely and enthusiastically for a flyer when they were at my station. Dude was confused but accepted my request.
There was also a black guy cheering for the speaker, though it wasn’t clear if he was mocking them or was strangely supportive of the party.
Did you try to walk up and grab one? Foreigners should get our own signs and stand and support them. The irony would undermine their entire movement.
I think I passed by another truck of theirs outside of Nakano St. Didn’t stick around to see if it was them, might have been a different party.
They’re number 2 in the polls. Should we be complacent? The number 1 LDP is already on the decline and super unpopular. Could Japan turn into something like Trump America? I personally think it’s easy for the Japanese to suddenly become/show their xenophobia.
Large influx of Islamists does that to a country. They are only doing what some or the other party would be doing not just in Japan but in any given country that knows how big of a threat they have become in Europe causing entire countries’ economies, culture, safety to take a hit. It’s expected.
Low effort
That statue has nice titties. Natural shape and form
Why keep advertising them.
My friend is Japanese collage grad, early 30’s working 996 job and cant get ahead. Sent me these guys policy statements.
I ran it thru Gemini AI and asked what effects would a sanseito majority coalition have on Japan and Japanese people in 1 year, 5 years and 10 years.
Almost all policies would have negative impacts and send the country into deep depression, economic contraction, accelerated population decline, potential hyper inflation, increased isolation from alias and trading partners etc in 10 years.
One year effects would be moderately good wrt people feeling like their concerns are being addressed. Concerns such as a 46.2% tax burdeon rate, frustration with economic stagnation, and concerns with excessive immigration (mostly from china).
Peoples concerns are real and some of their policies resonate even for less far right voters, like trying to change education away from a testing culture to a thinking critically and reasoning model.
It seems like a generational shift in politics is afoot but In the end politics is about compromise so even if they take a majority they wont get the more radical stuff passed, but could help address some of the peoples concerns.
Their WENDYS overlords behind them will surely teach them to embrace the West or they will be baconated
