Updated G1 Predictions

With Goto unfortunately out of the G1, that really throws A Block for a loop. While my pick to win remains unchanged, A Block is kind of all over the place. In particular, EVIL and especially Uemura jump massively in my predictions.

Here’s what I have:
A Block:

EVIL: 16 points (yes, I expect a lot of House of Torture fuckery here)

Uemura: 16 points (loses tiebreaker to EVIL)

Yota Tsuji: 12 points

SANADA: 10 points

Oiwa: 8 points

Oleg: 8 points

Finley: 8 points (I think the dog collar match will be the justification for such a low placement)

Tanahashi: 6 points

Play-In (my pick is Kojima): 4 points

Newman: 2 points (felt kind of bad about this one, could’ve maybe given him a win over EVIL and Uemura that wouldn’t change anything)

B Block:

Great-O-Khan: 12 points

Takagi: 12 points

ZSJ: 12 points

Kidd: 11 points

Takeshita: 10 points

Umino: 8 points

Drilla: 7 points

ELP: 6 points

Narita: 6 points

YOSHI-HASHI: 6 points

Playoffs
Quarterfinals: Tsuji over Uemura, Takagi over ZSJ

Semifinals: Tsuji over EVIL, Takagi over Grear-O-Khan

Finals: Tsuji over Takagi

  3. that’s not how the playoffs work this year, from your blocks it’d be takagi vs tsuji (winner faces evil) and uemura vs zack (winner faces o-khan)

  4. If Great O-Khan wins B Block I won’t even bother watching the knockouts. He’s fucking rubbish.

  5. I ain’t going to be mad at a Takagi vs Tsuji finals… I personally can’t see Finlay only getting 8 points. Narita getting six points is another headscratcher when I can definitely see Narita getting a win on Gabe and continue that feud and last year he was threatening the playoffs which they like to tease a HOT member in the playoffs

  6. Idt anyone gets 16 points def not EVIL prob tsuji or Takeshita get 14 as the max but SANADA is finishing at 6 or 8 max. Finlay def gets atleast ten he won new japan cup this year even if they wanna sell the dog collar i still honk he gets atleast 10. Idt ZSJ qualifies since he holds the belt. Narita will prob do p well and get 10 or 12.
