8. This is interesting, when i visited tokyo for the first time i was really shocked to see these karts they were a bit loud and the people riding them were mildly obese wearing those chartacter suits waving around, i honestly cringed they felt out of place, they did not mesh well with the scene.

   Although my opinion does not matter since im a tourist, i’d love it if these karts are out
   The whole thing feels more american than japanese.

15. I never see the point of blaming the tourists. I mean do they know any better than to trust the trustworthy Japanese businesses? More needs to be done in regulation

19. Are these things really that annoying to locals? Is it the noise? Or is it how dangerous they are to the traffic patterns?

    I live in a tourist town in the states, by the ocean, and we have a similar service to these karts, and it’s never really bugged me all that much. But then again, they aren’t nearly as loud as these things are.
