I am curious as to the viewpoint of beauty from Japaneese and Americans. Specifically, take 10 Japaneese women in this example( also curious regarding the groups of American/ Japaneese men/women). Have a group of American men and Japaneese men rank them base on beauty. Would they be the same, or different? Why?
I understand "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." However, there are general standards, and astetics that each consider more attractive and hold to a higher level of beauty preference. Would a women that would be considered "low" on the beauty standard in American/Japan, be more desirable to the opposite country?
