3. Investing approximately 80.6 trillion yen for only 10% of the profit? That seems like an atrocious deal.

4. Obviously this is bad as stated, but the source they are using is a Donald Trump post on truth social. You can’t just assume that’s accurate. In fact, you should assume that he’s outright lying or not correctly presenting the actual facts of the trade deal. Once we actually know what the deal is, then we can talk about it. Until then, let the orange rant to himself in the corner.

10. Sounds too botched. Everyone knows that Japan is the US’s vassal, but even vassals would not agree to pay a tribute of 8% of their annual nominal GDP and remove industry protections for nothing in return aside from a measly 10% import tax discount on their exported goods.

    I smell a cartwagon of bullshit pushed by the ‘mericans.
