Foreign resident of Japan starts work as city’s first-ever non-Japanese rickshaw puller

TL;DR Joris De Bievre, a Frenchman living in Kanazawa, Japan, became the city’s first foreign rickshaw puller. After eight years in Tokyo, he moved to Kanazawa and started working as a rickshaw puller for Kanazawa Ichirikisha, combining his love for the city with his experience as a guide. De Bievre, who is trilingual, aims to provide unique insights to both Japanese and foreign tourists.
