Hi, I will be returning to Japan soon for work next week. Regarding money, should I exchange USD to JPY in my home country India or exchange them at Haneda T3? US$4900 is roughly equal to ¥715,000 and it feels risky to carry that much money in cash into Japan from India.
Right now I am thinking to carry US$4900 and ¥200,000 in cash, exchange USD to JPY at Haneda T3. That would mean I would have approximately ¥915,000 in cash with me as I leave the airport.
Are there any other options? I'm not so tech savvy so don't know anything about Forex cards and such.
