What should I order?

Seeing a few things I’ve never had before. I’d order the entire menu, but I don’t have room lol

  1. I haven’t had sea bream yet or fin of fluke. No roe so that is off the table.😢. Unagi is always on my order.

  2. I’d probably go for madai, hotate, hamachi toro, firefly squid, and anago!

  3. I’d probably do something like this: negi toro hand roll, hamachi toro nigiri, unagi nigiri, bluefin nigiri

  4. Always ALWAYS get engawa if it’s available. Lightly seared is even better. Slightly fatty with a crisp texture.

  5. If it’s really good quality Firefly squid is pretty darn limited and something special

  6. Id try the sea bream the Bluefin tuna, Hokkaido scallop, hamachi toro, and the salmon. The sea bream might be the lightest flavoring a yuzu kosho would pair nice with it. , but you’ll have some heavy hitters thatll give u a lot of flavor.

The one piece nigiri im assuming probably has more premium items like Toro o chutoro

  7. itoyori and madai are amazing. i love kanpachi as well. I havent seen rockfish before so id try the kurosoi. hamachi toro is probably a must even tho yellowtail is common. then id start getting the eel pieces and the tuna pieces. Everything on the list sounds great tho

  8. King, salmon, baby sea, bream, fin of fluke, scallop, Negi Toro, hand, roll, Kampachi, yellowtail belly, firefly squid, sweet shrimp, that with maybe a couple cucumber Negi rolls, and a tamago.

If available, order of urchin, and quail egg oyster shot or muscles

That would be a perfect set for me

  9. One of each. Maybe 3 walu (escolar) because it’s harder to find at a good place.

  10. I’ve heard squid is good. I really need to go for sushi with someone who knows what they’re doing. The only sushi I’ve ever had really has been from the grocery store so I need to broaden my horizons!😅 Anyone in here from the Columbia, MO area?

  11. Wow seeing these prices makes me thankful I’m in Vancouver! $14 for a Negitoro roll 😮 i typically pay $5 Canadian
