So, I'm on a spouse visa and I simply want to get good quality Japanese lessons locally where I live in Oita city in Kyushu. I've contacted 2 language schools so far about getting Japanese lessons from them, but they have both told me that they give priority to people with student visas and only if after they have finished trying to fill up as many spaces as they can with student visa applicants will they consider taking me on (only if there are spaces available). This is definitely unfair treatment, and I was wondering if other people have had the same experience as this and can shed some light as to what is going on here, or even if this is legal behaviour.
