So today, my wife and I decided to go to Burger King so I can try their five beef whopper. Went there along with my 1 year old.
We get the food and start to eat and halfway through my baby starts crying and wants to get down. My wife puts him down but he continues to cry, mind you he wasn't crying like crazy.
All of a sudden, some old lady sitting next to us tells my wife that she's intentionally making him cry. My wife in shock yells her "No, I'm not." She tells her that it's annoying and she shouldn't be doing that. My wife responds that's what babies do.
Later on her husband comes and she starts talking about us loudly about how my wife is letting my son cry.
My wife engages telling them it's not true. The man says there must have been misunderstanding since she has kids and loves them. He then turns to me and says "where's that thing from?"
My wife says "excuse me? A thing?"
"Oh where is that person from?"
She answered and then we left.
Why can't people keep their comments to themselves? Just wanted to rant.
Edit: In hindsight, I should've taken my son outside so he can calm down. Next time, I'll do that. If an old lady gives me shit, I'll ignore her after doing the aforementioned advice I received.
