Kioi Seido: Tokyo’s Enigmatic ‘Building with No Purpose’


TL;DR Architect Hiroshi Naito designed Kioi Seido, a five-story building in Tokyo with no specific purpose, inspired by the Jomon period. The building, featuring a blend of warm and cool tones, earthy and industrial textures, is open to the public for a limited time until September 30th. The exhibition also showcases Naito’s 40 years of diaries and sketches.
