I know all the cliches about Yakuza and stuff but honestly don’t have a clue what they do aside from typical organised crime stuff. Seen a video where a guy said they basically don’t exist anymore but people think that about the mob
in US.
But I’m pretty sure they still exist, just don’t have the power and influence like they did back in the 70s.
I assume it’s the same for Yakuza. Plus I hear that tattoos in Japan are generally frowned upon anyway but maybe that’s why they have them. Have u guys had any encounters with Yakuza as a resident of Japan?
