Anxious about natural disasters as a foreigner living in Japan, how can I help it!

I’m not used to natural disaster planning or skills plus not sure what my mindset should be in these sorts of situations. Is anyone able to provide some tips or thoughts on this especially with earthquakes being so prominent and the recent tsunami warnings?
