Pakistani brothers arrested on suspicion of illegally exporting stolen luxury cars – Kanagawa Prefectural Police

The Kanagawa Prefectural Police arrested Naseebullah, a 38-year-old Pakistani national who runs a car export company called “IDREES TRADING,” along with his younger brother Nakeebullah, who is an employee at the same company. They were charged with violating customs law by falsely declaring stolen cars, including a luxury Toyota Lexus, to customs and trying to export them. Both have admitted to the charges. On January 31, they allegedly submitted false export applications at Yokohama Customs to export two stolen cars, valued at approximately 9.3 million yen, to the UAE. The scheme was discovered on February 18 when customs reported that the cars in the container did not match the application documents. Upon investigation, two of the three cars were found to have been stolen late last year and earlier this year from a home in Kyoto and a parking lot in Yokohama. The police are investigating how they obtained the cars.
