Anyone been in the same pension/health insurance situation?

I can't find a related question and have tried searching on Google but I'm coming up with a blank so thought I'd post here.

I'm on a spouse visa and have been a tax dependent for multiple years (I do work part-time but do my own taxes and earn under the threshold required for paying for myself) with my husband's company paying for my pension/health insurance. I've been talking through our options with my spouse as I'm trying to increase my freelance workload (and I also have the opportunity to become full-time at my current company) but we hit a problem and wanted to know if it's happened to anyone else.

My problem is I don't know what happens with pension and health insurance if I suddenly gain the extra income. This would bring me over the maximum of 1,300,000 I'm allowed to earn a year before I lose my dependent status. If I changed to full-time would I have to pay for the full year for pension and health insurance or does it only apply after I switch to the new hours? Money-wise it doesn't make too much sense as it would be more hours for not much extra income (since I'm starting later in the year) but switching to full-time gives me the freedom of building up my freelance business without having to wait until the new year rolls over.

TLDR: Pension/health insurance paid for by my spouse's company but would changing to full-time make me eligible for paying for the full year or does it only apply from the date of change?
