I recently created a profile on Findy-code.io as I’m planning to move to Japan from the USA. I have 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer and hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the USA. I would also need relocation support and visa sponsorship.
Since setting up my profile, I’ve been receiving likes from various companies, which is encouraging. However, when I follow up by sending my CV, I rarely get any response back.
My profile was originally completely in English, so I updated it to Japanese and clearly mentioned that I don’t yet have Japanese language skills. I’ve only just started learning Katakana a couple of weeks ago.
Am I misunderstanding how the hiring process works on Findy-code.io or in Japan in general? If companies like my profile, why might they not respond to my messages?

- Aug 5th: I sent a message along with my CV
