A lot of Japanese beers use foreign malts including premium malts from suntory, I went to their factory tour 10 years ago and was surprised to find out.
Well if we are going anti foreign, Japan should stop using everything that originates In the west. Trains, cars, beer, whiskey, concrete, beef, and well, pretty much everything that people here are so proud to call theirs, originated somewhere else. Even the countries people. (Ainu being the original Japanese people here before the Chinese/Koreans came over here 15k years ago.) probably why DNA tests aren’t popular here. they don’t want to know they are all part Chinese/Korean.
