I live near Shin-Osaka and every evening at 5:50 pm there is an announcement on loudspeakers.
However, I’m still learning Japanese and the echoes from the loudspeakers make it super hard for me to hear what’s being said 🥲
I heard before some towns will make an announcement telling children to go home. Does anyone know for sure?

Yeah, that tells children to go home. Nobody may listen, though.

I’m glad I’ve never heard it in Kita-ku.
In my city it’s 5pm, for kids to go home, just music, no announcement.
