Scenario Tracker Predictions


As we enter the business end of G1, who has gone through the scenario tracker to see if their predictions can still play out?

My 3 advancing from Block A are still the same, but I can't have Tsuji win his block. So now I have Finlay with the comeback block win.

For Block B, I had Gabe advancing with Umino and Takeshita. So Shingo gets to join the party instead. I pretty much have to have YOSHI HASHI beat ZSJ to stop Zack advancing which means Shingo has to win the block instead of my original prediction of Takeshita topping the block with a G1 leading 14.

Uemura/Tsuji final is still my prediction. Just means we get a Uemura/Finlay Semi which is always a great match, and a Tsuji/Shingo Semi which would be intriguing for the unaffiliated group.

Tsuji still wins my G1.

  1. I’ve got ZSJ winning out at 14. Also I’ve generally not hated the weaker booking for people making it out of the block, but Tsuji should have won more, 12 should have been his minimum but I do think he’ll end with 10 most likely

  3. You booked out Tanahashi and EVIL to be meaningless by the time it happens on the final night of block action? Bold.

  4. I’d want to be Finlay because from 2023 to now, he makes it to finals just to lose.

  5. I can still have five of my six going through with Uemura/Tsuji/Tanahashi and Takeshita/ZSJ/ELP, with ELP obviously completely F-U-K-T fucked.

  6. I keep thinking ZSJ will advance just because he is champion. It would be two years in a row that the reigning world champion didn’t make the top 3 of their block!

  7. it does not make sense for Uemura to lose on the final night and still make the playoffs. Last year, all six wrestlers who made the playoffs won on the final night

    B block i actaully see playing out as you predicted
