Now that it’s EVIL in the finals, it feels pretty clear to me Takeshita will be the one to win. If Takeshita is going to be over in nooj more frequently and make some of these tours then I have no problem with this. I always thought Takeshita was the perfect Ace for current day NJPW and was being wasted in AEW.
But if that’s not the case, I don’t understand how they would’ve failed AGAIN to pull the trigger on one of their bright young stars, in favor of a part timer (I know he’s dual contracted but he’s never on a Road To show). Just feels like booking malpractice
