Me, my wife and our 1.5 year old boy are going to Japan for 11 nights in October. This would be our second time in Japan with our first trip in 2022 where we did the golden route – Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka with a day trip to Nikko.
Any suggestions for places to go for our second trip? We're currently spending the first 5 nights in Tokyo so we have 5 nights unplanned. We were debating Karuizawa for 2 nights and Kanazawa for 3 nights, but aren't tied to that if anyone has other suggestions.
